About a year and half ago, I photographed my first wedding at the 4T arena in Bridgeport, WV. I’m remember exactly when I met Maryann. It was one of the hottest days of the year, I was pregnant (just a few weeks along) and desperately needed water. I knocked on the kitchen door where the staff was busy finishing up food for the reception. I worked in the service industry for almost ten years so I know how stressful the day is leading up to an event. Maryann could have easily told me to wait, but without hesitation she handed me a bottle of water. I appreciated that more than she knows.
Fast forward a few months, I received a Facebook message from Maryann asking for my availability for her own wedding. I’m always humbled when other wedding industry friends ask me to document their wedding. It truly is an honor.
Jeff’s family own the 4T which was famous for their rodeos they brought to town. The arena no longer hosts rodeo’s, but instead it’s now used as a wedding venue. Maryann is one heck of an entrepreneur ! There is such a need for wedding venues in North Central West Virginia. She saw an opportunity and went for it.
Jeff and Maryann were wed this past November at the 4T arena and I can’t wait to show off their wedding! Until then, enjoy some of my favorite photos from their engagement session.
