I am in the process of planning my own wedding and I was impressed and inspired by Lesley and Kris’ small and intimate ceremony in the Florida Keys. They stayed in Key West, but when it came time for the ceremony they ventured North along the Overseas Highway to Bahia Honda State Park to exchange vows. As if this photogenic couple needed any additional help they had the ceremony at one of the most beautiful landscapes imaginable.
The ceremony took place on the Bahia Honda Rail Bridge which is an old railroad intended to connect mainland Florida to adjacent Keys. Well, this particular section of bridge hasn’t been in use since 1972, but provides a bird’s eye view of exactly what you’d imagine if you closed your eyes and blasted Jimmy Buffet. Besides being naturals in front of the camera, Lesley and Kris weren’t just getting married…they were/are madly in love with one another and it was beautiful to witness. I feel honored to have been a part of this wonderful union between 2 very deserving and fun people. If I were to say I wasn’t inspired by these two I’d be lying.
